|The AA50 LL rules are very similar to AAR-LL in many cases. Therefore it is highly recommended to read and understand the AAR-LL rules.
The players have to decide on their own if a first shot is possible or not. Dicey always rolls the subs together with the remaining naval units.
When air units are attacking subs without a destroyer present, the players have to make sure that air units cannot make more hits than naval units (without subs) are present. Dicey does not check for that.
Based on the probabilites and considering that lowluck should be as similar to standard as possible, the following technology development system has been developed.
When purchasing 2 tech dice a tech breakthorugh can be achieved after
2 rounds at 5-6 = 33% (Standard 53%)
3 rounds at 4-6 = 50% (Standard 67%)
4 rounds at 3-6 = 67% (Standard 78%)
5 rounds at 2-6 = 83% (Standard 84%)
6 rounds at 100% (Standard 89%)
When purchasing 3 tech dice a tech breakthorugh can be achieved after
2 rounds at 4-6 = 50% (Standard 68%)
3 rounds at 3-6 = 67% (Standard 78%)
4 rounds at 2-6 = 83% (Standard 89%)
5 rounds at 100%
The techs have been dividied into 4 tech trees, from which one has to be chosen.

1. When you pruchase tech dice you have to decide whether to buy 2 or 3 dice (no other variants).
2. You have to chose a tech tree at the time the tech dice are purchased
